OUR STORY
About Dr. Ibarra
Dr. Cody Ibarra earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Columbia University in New York, specializing in orthopedic rehabilitation. Born and raised in southern California, he earned his Bachelor’s at University of California Santa Barbara. He first became interested in pelvic health while working in an outpatient clinic prior to attending graduate school. His interest in this specialty further blossomed throughout his graduate program and continuing education. When he isn’t treating clients, he loves spending time with his partner and their one year old daughter, cooking something delicious, and staying up too late to watch Lakers and Dodgers games.

I have known Cody since 2020 and he has worked diligently to improve my balance and most recently post total knee replacement. Cody not only taught me better balance exercises to do at home and also in therapy but he explained exactly what each exercise was working to improve. I would not consider ever going to anyone other than Cody with any therapy I may need in the future. He is a truly knowledgeable and compassionate person.

After suffering a painful ankle fracture, I turned to physical therapy for recovery—and that’s where I met Cody. Over the course of six months, we worked together to rebuild my mobility. The injury had taken a toll on my confidence and self-esteem. Cody's patience, professionalism, and warm personality made all the difference. He not only guided me through the physical recovery, but also helped lift my spirits—always knowing how to make me smile or laugh. Thanks to his support, I’m now completely pain-free. I’m incredibly grateful to Cody—not just as a skilled physical therapist, but also as a now close friend.

There are good, very good and excellent Physical Therapists around, but Cody is in a class of his own “Amazing”! I do not recall using this phrase in any recommendation in the past, but in this case, it absolutely fits and defines Cody. I have been to many Physical Therapists in the last few years and he is definitely the best! Cody is extremely detailed and knowledgeable and pushes you to your limits. Do your self a favor and reach out to him for your own recovery!
